Terms of use
1. General Provisions
These general terms of use (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the rights and obligations of users of the RobotnickeUbytovne.sk portal (hereinafter the "Portal"), operated by a company based in the Slovak Republic.
By using the Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you must not use the Portal.
- The Portal is intended for both individuals and legal entities providing accommodation.
- The Portal serves as an information and referral channel — it does not handle direct bookings.
- The operator reserves the right to change the terms at any time, with notice given to users.
2. Registration and Account
Registration on the Portal is free and voluntary. To register, you need to provide a valid email address and choose a password.
- Users must be over 18 years of age and have legal capacity.
- Registration details must be true, complete, and up to date.
- One account may be registered per email address.
- Users are responsible for the security of their password and for all activity carried out from their account.
- The operator has the right to cancel any account that violates these Terms.
After registering, you can add hostels, manage their profiles, and communicate with people interested in accommodation.
3. Content Rules
Users are solely responsible for the content they publish on the Portal — including texts, photographs, price lists, and contact details.
- Published content must be truthful, up to date, and must not be misleading.
- It is forbidden to publish content that is offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or infringes the rights of third parties.
- Photographs must show the actual premises of the hostel — not third-party content used without permission.
- Contact details must belong directly to the hostel operator or their representative.
- Adding duplicate or fictitious hostel profiles is prohibited.
The operator has the right to remove inappropriate content or suspend the relevant profile without prior notice.
4. Personal Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.
- We collect only the data necessary to provide the Portal's services.
- We do not pass your data on to third parties without your explicit consent.
- You have the right to access your data, and to have it corrected, erased, or transferred.
- Only the metadata necessary for processing contact enquiries is available to the administrator.
- Cookies are used solely to ensure the portal's functionality.
5. Liability
The Portal serves exclusively as an advertising channel. The operator:
- Is not responsible for the truthfulness, completeness, or currency of the information listed in hostel profiles.
- Does not guarantee the availability of hostels, nor the conclusion of a contractual relationship between the accommodation provider and the interested party.
- Is not a party to any contract concluded between users as a result of contact made through the Portal.
- Is not liable for damages caused by technical outages or the temporary unavailability of the Portal.
The accommodation provider bears full responsibility for the published information and for the quality of the accommodation services provided.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Basic hostel registration is free. Premium services (TOP placement) are charged according to the current price list.
- Payments for premium services are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise.
- After a paid subscription ends, the hostel profile remains saved but is no longer publicly displayed.
- You will receive the invoice for your payment by email at your registered address.
- The operator reserves the right to change the prices of premium services with 30 days' notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All elements of the Portal — including its design, source code, texts, and graphics — are protected by copyright and are the exclusive property of the operator.
- Copying, distributing, or commercially exploiting the Portal's content without written consent is prohibited.
- By uploading photographs to the Portal, the user grants the operator a free licence to display them within the Portal.
- The operator does not take ownership of the photographs you upload.
8. Final Provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be settled by the court at the operator's registered office.
- If any provision of these Terms becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
- The current version of the Terms is always available on this page.
- By continuing to use the Portal after the Terms have been changed, you agree to their new wording.
If you have any questions about these terms, contact us via the contact form.
